Master of Science – Social Innovation Management
Do you want to help build more just, more sustainable and more united societies? Give yourself the means to intervene in the management of organizations where we share these values or to design your own social innovation project.
*Please note this course is only available in French. Proof of French proficiency at an advanced level is required for admission
Admission requirements
Language Requirements
Have an advanced language level in French when submitting the application. If you have an intermediate-advanced level, you will have to follow an academic and professional writing course from your first session.
Many of the readings and reference materials are in English, so it is strongly recommended to have an intermediate level in this language.

Qualification
- Understand the social, ecological and political challenges facing our societies.
- Discover the different approaches to social innovation: social entrepreneurship, cooperative economy and models of the commons
- Master the particularities of management in a context of social innovation by exploring them in class and in the field (thesis or supervised project).
- Apply systemic and critical approaches to analyze the social, ecological and political effects of decision-making in organizations.
- Design or support social innovation projects using participatory research and intervention methods: participant observation, action research, mediation, among others.
- Collaborate with socially engaged students and professors, trained in both management and social sciences.
Career paths
- Intervene in organizations where your concerns are shared: cooperatives, community organizations, government services, unions, NGOs and social enterprises.
